REUNION CHANGE

Hey Everyone!
Just wanted you to know that we only had 11 people respond to our recent post asking who will attend this reunion. I know there are many out there who are going, but just haven't responded. BUT, because of the low response we are forced to change the plans.
We are STILL having the reunion. We are changing it to Thursday JULY 2nd at JOE's BBQ in Gilbert at 5 pm until whenever we leave. We're planning on staying late. Joe's has a large area to seat many people which will be nice. The address is 301 N. Gilbert Rd. It is on Gilbert between Elliot and Guadalupe. This will be a lot easier for us to do. We hope to see as many of you there as can make it. I still think it will be fun no matter how big or small the group. Please spread the word. Hopefully we'll see you then!

The time is drawing nearer

Hi fellow Chargers. The time for the reunion is getting closer, and as it does we need to get some details nailed down. We've heard from some of you who plan to come, and others who have conflicts. We've decided against a family activity on Saturday, the 4th, so the only activity would be a dinner for adults only on Friday evening.

Here's what we need you to do...e-mail our planning committee (all of us, please): Karen Ashman Jensen (ckjensenaz@cox.net), Heather Andreasen Biggs (heather@awardfence.com), or Kristen Bradshaw Danielson (krissymissy@gmail.com) and tell us for sure whether or not you plan to come. We realize some of you have already contacted us, but we're looking for a concrete number, so if you could do that again, that would be great. Please let us know 'yes' or 'no' no later than May 4.

Once we have a complete list of people coming, we'll contact you with more information.

We're excited to see all of you.

Date for reunion

A date has been set for the MHS seminary reunion. July 3-4 of 2009. Plan ahead. Spread the word. Let us know of who we can add to the list. We'd love to see everyone. More details to come.

News Is Spreading!

Good News! We have had a lot of responses from people this past week. I think the news is finally starting to spread. Everyone seems very excited. We still, however, need people to tell us what ideas you have for when, where, etc. We'd love some input. Just in case you don't know how to post on this blog, just go to the top where it says sign in. Then, hit the + sign that says New Post. It's that easy!

I am running a long list of emails that I have from everyone. I'll wait another week or so to see if I get any more sent to me, then I'll send out one big email. If we hit Reply All, when answering, maybe that will help spark some ideas.

Please continue to try to spread the word and get a hold of people you may haven't talked to in a while. We'd love to see tons of faces there.

Ok, we sure haven't had the response we hoped for....if you have visisted this sight, please email one of us! Here is a walk down memory lane, any of you in the class of '88 recall these names?

Eddie McGarvin, Melanie Ray, Janie Stevens, John Bellerose, Jennifer and Jill bott, Jeremy Hepworth,Janae Taysom, Robert Allen, Raylyn Bramwell, Rex Christensen, Wendy Dieu (passed away giving birth to her 1st child about 8 years ago), Steve Irvine, Jeness Lloyd, Richard Webb, Vicki Bronson, Ed Coburn, Jonne Despain, Brett Goff, Keith Jones, Cassi Parker, Kevin Roberts and Matt Wagner, Amy Bynum.

These are the names of the graduates from McClintock seminary of 1988. sorry if I forgot, or left out anyone's name! But, if you know where these people are, please let them know about this sight. Or, if you know of anyone who graduated, lets spread the word!

We have heard from Janelle Miller, Perry McArthur, Anne Dickson, and Chuck Hawley. The party will be great with just us, but it would be fun if we had more guests. Lets get the ball rolling. I thing we all agree that it won't be this summer, if we don't get more response, it might not be until next summer, or fall.

Here's the scoop!

Hey everyone! We're trying to get a seminary reunion together. If you graduated between 1985 and 1990 we'd love to see you there (but we won't turn you away if you graduated in another year). Right now, we're still in the beginning stages of planning.

Some ideas we're considering are: an evening dinner (catered) for adults - we'll let you know prices as it gets closer, and an afternoon activity for families (depending on the time of year), a slide show of funny pictures from 'back in the day', maybe some fun 80's music, etc. If you have talent and or equipment for any of these things, we would welcome any help you can give. We're also going to try to contact teachers. So far, we remember having had Bro. Harmes, Bro. Hunter, and Bro. McKenna. We know we're missing some, so help us out! We're thinking we want to have this either this summer, or in the fall. If you're in the class of '88, your class reunion is Oct. 10-12, if that helps you decide.

Let us know if either date will work better for you by commenting on this blog (please don't leave personal information on this blog...it's public). Also, if you could e-mail Kristen, Heather or Karen, with your e-mail address, we'll use that to make sure everyone gets the word. We'll more than likely just go with majority rule.
